The 1988 follow-up to Paul Hogan's international hit "Crocodile" Dundee is less interesting and more formulaic than the first film, while a silly suspense element about a retaliatory drug kingp...( read more

Something is mussing from this second installment of the Dundee films, as he's a fish out of water again.
LOL this movie is hilarious, if you enjoyed the first one then definately watch this one. Also if you are able to get your hands on the third one about him goin to LA then you have got to watch that one as well. Funny, Funny, Funny.
Just as good as the first movie, perhaps even a little better. I couldn't wait to see what this crazy outback man could get into next.
Mick Dundee is back again this time to take on a under ground New York criminal element in a really good sequel to the original 80's classic
I think this is the best of the triology. Definitely has a better plot than the other two put together.
A sequel of course but this time in reverse. After Dundee scores the girl they return to his place and now the city girl has to find her way about.
Throw in some bad guys and you're set.
Not as funny as first time around.
Very great movie, with the whole drug scheme gotta save the girl run for your life bit. The ending was the kicker tho-I seriously thought her was dead the 1st time I watched it. lol
The laughs just keep on comming in this one. Although this is a sequel, there are plently of fresh ideas.
They tried to capture the awesomeness of the first one but totally failed. The best part is when he's fishing in the beginning. And it goes downhill from there.
I certainly enjoyed the first Crocodile Dundee film and found it to be great entertainment, and this sequel is about as much fun as the original. This follow-up to the classic 1986 Australian international hit is enjoyable, entertaining, fun and quite humorous. Mick Dundee (Hogan) is still on vacation in New York City with his new girlfriend Sue (Kozlowski). In Columbia, Sue's ex-husband captures drug dealers committing a murder on camera. But he is noticed and barely escapes. Fearing for his safety, he sends Sue the film from the camera so he can collect it when he gets back to New York. But the drug dealers find out where the film has gone, and head to New York in an attempt to recover the film. We begin the story in New York, then midway through we return to the rugged Australian landscape in the Northern Territory. As always, the character of Mick Dundee is played to perfection by Paul Hogan who makes Mick as lovable and as Australian as he was in the original. Of course being an Aussie myself I love the Australian themes and language, as well as the humour. Like its predecessor, I was in stitches throughout due to Mick's simplicity and attitude to every situation. I know there are lots of people who disliked this sequel for whatever reasons, but I enjoyed it and it kept me entertained for its lengthy running time of about 110 minutes. Crocodile Dundee II scores higher than most rip-off Hollywood sequels...and it's an Australian film. Recommended.
This is camp and this is classic. Not the original and nowhere near as good, but if you like the genre of eighties action heros, here is one with every cliche and laughable scene in the book.
I really loved the first movie. Unfortunately the studios didn't know what to do with Paul Hogan because he wasn't young enough to be a bankable breakout star plus a "foreigner" but he was thanks to the first movie a hot property. So they revisited the movie and here's the twist they did it in reverse the Outbackman comes away from the city he's started to adapt to and goes back to the outback.
It was OK if formulaic.
DUNDEE IS AWSOME T_T the only croc rangler left from austrailia. Here's to you Steve.. here's to you.
Though it is not that great a movie, for some reason, I like it a bit better than the first one. Go figure.
This was not as good as the original. It is ok for once in a while, but it is not something I would watch a lot.
you 3 do not know what your missing~! This is a very funny and sweet movie your really missing out please watchy...sigh
I haven't seen this in nearly twenty years, at the time it was a really fun film, but it really has not held up well over time.
As my brother would say "Good evening Wendy there will be 4 of us dining here on this lovely evening...oh wait here comes Sheila"
Crocodile Dundee is a good movie and it is very funny. Paul Hogan does a good job as crocodile dundee
If you've seen the previous film then you'll know what to expect. The storyline is weak, but who cares when you want to see a humurous movie.
Fuji: [speaking about 'Crocodile' Dundee] Do you know who that was?
Cato: No.
Fuji: Clint Eastwood.
I was never really much of a Crocodile Dundee fan going in to this movie, but it was okay. The first one is better though.
the first was great, but this is a typical sequal. All the ideas have been put in the first movie, so there is nothing left for this one. Too bad ...

Highly Recommended! The original Crocodile Dundee was definitely worthy of a sequel and this one does a great job of capturing the same magic that made the first one great. Some memorable comedic moments played by the charming Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski reprises her role wonderfully as well. A memorable fun movie. One of my childhood favourites.
