If nothing else, Lionsgate's horror remake The Eye will be remembered as the last film Jessica Alba appeared in before becoming a baby mama. And now, fans will be able to bring Ms. Alba's final pre-MILF work home when The Eye hits Blu-ray this summer.
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced a June 3 date for the release.
A remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film, The Eye stars Jessica Alba as Sydney Wells, an accomplished concert violinist. She is also blind, and has been so since a childhood tragedy. Sydney undergoes a double corneal transplant, a surgery she has waited her whole life to have, and her sight is restored. But Sydney's happiness is short-lived as unexplainable shadowy and frightening images start to haunt her. Are they a passing aftermath of her surgery, Sydney's mind adjusting to sight, a product of her imagination, or something horrifyingly real?
