MONTY Python legend John Cleese has fallen for a pretty blonde half his age.
The 68-year-old actor whisked marketing executive Veronica Smiley, 34, off on a romantic holiday to Italy’s Great Lakes.
But Cleese is worried their relationship might suffer because he lives in London – and she lives thousands of miles away in Chicago.
He said: “Veronica’s incredibly bright.
“I never thought I would be interested in somebody in marketing but she is so acute.
“I am not sure when we’ll be seeing each other again. Unfortunately we are living very apart.”
The Life of Brian funnyman is currently divorcing third wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger.
They split in January following 16 years of marriage.
Veronica said: “At the moment it is a very close, very warm friendship.
“John’s very stimulating and extremely funny and charming.
“I’m American and had never heard of Monty Python or Fawlty Towers, although I had seen A Fish Called Wanda.”
Hollywood star Cleese recently sold his California ranch for a reputed £8million.
