RottenTomatoes got their hands on an international poster for the upcoming "Death Race" remake," featuring a shot of Jason Statham holding the Frankenstein mask with the race going on behind him.
In the movie, ex-con Jensen Ames (Statham) is forced by the warden of a notorious prison (Joan Allen) to compete in our post-industrial world's most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory. Check out the trailer for more on this movie.
"Death Race" is written and directed by Paul WS Anderson, the man behind such films as "Mortal Kombat," "Resident Evil" and "AVP: Alien vs. Predator." "Race" is scheduled to hit theaters on August 22nd.
